Responsible Trade

Know the product. Know the counterparty.

Diligence should match the commodity, origin, destination, payment structure, and transaction risk.

01 / What We Verify

The basic transaction facts.

CounterpartyIdentity, authority, role, and ability to perform.
ProductSpecification, quality evidence, quantity, location, and availability.
SourceOrigin, ownership, traceability, permits, and chain of custody where relevant.
Trade controlsSanctions, licensing, customs, and destination requirements.
PaymentCommercial terms, payment method, bankability, title, and risk transfer.
DeliveryInspection, packaging, documents, logistics, and acceptance.

02 / Higher-Risk Trades

More risk requires more evidence.

Certain origins, supply chains, commodities, payment paths, and transaction structures require additional review. A conflict-affected or high-risk origin is a diligence issue, not automatically a prohibition.

Norkal may pause, restructure, or decline an opportunity when the evidence is insufficient.

03 / Information Sharing

Share information in stages.

  • Begin with non-sensitive product and commercial details
  • Verify the receiving party before deeper disclosure
  • Use confidentiality protections when appropriate
  • Share sensitive identity, source, bank, and permit records only when needed

04 / Warning Signs

Reasons to slow down.

AUTHORITY

Unsupported claims

Unverifiable mandates, government relationships, licenses, or purchasing authority.

STRUCTURE

Opaque chains

Hidden intermediaries, shifting parties, or pressure for premature exclusivity.

PAYMENT

Unusual requests

Advance fees, unrelated payees, manufactured urgency, or unnecessary sensitive documents.
